12 Aug Introducing the Diane Garton Edie Legacy Fund
During a recent visit to one of our partner schools, a student proudly shared that they will be attending Juilliard this fall. They credited the beginning of their journey to Opera for the Young (OFTY) programs at their school – proof that early exposure to the arts can spark lifelong dreams.
Now, through the Diane Garton Edie Legacy Fund, we have a way to ensure all children have access to that same inspiration. Established in honor of our retired Artistic Director, Diane Garton Edie, this new endowed fund will provide fully funded OFTY programs each year to schools in need – reaching three school communities in the 2025-2026 academic year. A simple application process will open the door to meaningful arts enrichment, regardless of a school’s budget.
