EVERY PERFORMANCE IS A

COLLABORATION BETWEEN

THE SCHOOL AND OFY

 

 

OPERA FOR THE YOUNG:

-Brings 4 professional opera singers and 1 pianist/vocal coach

-Brings all set pieces, costumes and props

-Conducts an hour long rehearsal with the school student chorus to go over staging and blocking prior to the performance

 

EACH SCHOOL :

-Needs to prepare a student chorus in advance using OFY's extensive teaching materials

-Needs to have a space (such as a gymnasium or cafeteria) clear, clean and ready for performance

-Must have a tuned acoustic piano or electronic keyboard

 

EVERY PERFORMANCE:

- Is 45 minutes in length. Our artists conduct a 5- 10 minute Q&A afterwards with the audience

-Is adapted to suit elementary-aged audience members
