Art, Ask for More, National Arts Education
Public Awareness Campaign The arts are much more than just fun "extra" activities for kids. Participation in the arts opens up children's worlds and minds, and offers them the skills they need for a bright future. And chances are, your kids are not getting enough art, in or out of school.

The National Endowment for the Arts
Each year since 1999, OFY has been honored with project support from the National Endowment for the Arts. These prestigious endorsements reflect OFY's growing reputation as a national leader in arts education.

Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission
The Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission is an agency of county government, created by ordinance in 1977 to encourage public participation in arts and historical activities; to increase community access to the cultural resources of Dane County; and to forge working alliances between public and private sectors in support of the arts.


SPONSORSHIP

Many times parent organizations, civic organizations and local art groups will sponsor special arts-in-education activities like Opera for the Young. Please contact those local groups and tell them why you are interested in bringing OFY to your community!


FUNDING HELP IS ALSO AVAILABLE BY WRITING GRANTS - Schools might want to look at these organizations for funding sources to bring Opera for the Young to their community!
